ѻý’s CEO Naito Participated in Online Event “Deliver 18 new treatments by 2028 – The future of partnerships and role of Japan”

ѻý. (ѻý) is jointly developing new drugs for neglected tropical diseases with the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi), an international non-profit organization. ѻý’s CEO Haruo Naito participated in DNDi’s online event “Deliver 18 new treatments by 2028 – The future of partnerships and role of Japan” which was held on June 30, 2021. Currently, ѻý and DNDi are jointly developing ѻý’s in-house discovered antifungal agent fosravuconazole (E1224) as a treatment for mycetoma, a neglected tropical disease. Furthermore, ѻý and DNDi have established a long-term partnership and are collaborating on other neglected tropical diseases such as leishmaniasis.

DNDi has announced a new strategic plan aiming to deliver 18 new treatments by 2028 in collaboration with partners.
